BCA Nominations Committee is currently seeking nominees for offices up for election on June 27, 2017


BCA Members, Just a reminder that the nomination process for BCA officers and representatives is underway.

The BCA Nominations Committee (Dean Foster, Mark Haynes, David Hughes, Diane Kelly, Laura Kirkconnell and Barbara Wien) is currently seeking nominees for offices up for election at the June 27 annual membership meeting, including President, First and Second Vice-Presidents, Secretary, Treasurer, Neighborhood Conservation Advisory Representative and an NCAC Alternate rep, and Civic Federation Delegates (4) and Alternate delegates (4). A full description of each position can be found in the Bylaws at the BCA website.

Under the BCA Bylaws, the Nominations Committee will be offering its slate of nominees at the May 24 general membership meeting. If an office has one or more nominees as of the close of the May meeting, there can be no further nominations made for that office (i.e., the ballot for that office will be set). If an office has no nominees as of the May meeting, nominations for that office may only be made from the floor at the June meeting. The Nominating Committee urges you to consider volunteering a few hours of your time to support the Bluemont community.
